This lantern came EXACTLY as described, which was great for me! I was a
little worried about the color description "cobalt blue," as cobalt blue
is actually a shade between royal and navy blue. I hoped the lantern
glass would be closer to the teal in the picture, and it is--a lovely
dark turquoise (teal) color. I am using it as decor on my wall units to
complement my collection of articles from around the world, and since my
husband is from the Middle East, I am thrilled to have this piece in my
home! When considering the dimensions, keep in mind that the 10 1/4"
height includes the overall height (to the top of the hanger ring). I
would classify this lantern as fairly small, but it is perfect for my
needs.
This is nicely constructed and has a beautiful unique glass color.
Although shipping is pretty high, the overall price is worth the
atmosphere you will get with this lantern. I use tea candles and it is
really pretty. Shipping was excellent with solid packing.
Great quality lantern! Smaller than expected but looks good on tabletop
with a votive. If you use a tea light, you won't see as much of the
pattern cast by the light. Basically higher flame= more patterns. If
you're looking for the blue glass to create a blue glow, this probably
isn't the lantern you want.
It's great. I love it! It's just as pretty as it seemed in the pics.
It's beautiful and was a great deal too. I'm a satisfied customer.
